    CAROLINA THROUGH EARLY SATURDAY...
    Strong northwest winds are expected to linger across the
    mountains through Saturday morning, but will begin to subside
    somewhat by Saturday afternoon.
    ...HIGH WIND WARNING REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL NOON EST SATURDAY...
    * LOCATIONS...The mountains and foothills of western North
    Carolina as well as the high elevations of the South Carolina
    mountains.
    * HAZARDS...Strong to damaging winds from the northwest.
    * TIMING...Strong winds will continue through tonight, then very
    slowly diminish into Saturday morning.
    * WINDS...Northwest 15 to 25 mph with gusts up to 55 mph.
    * IMPACTS...Strong winds may blow down limbs, trees, and power
    lines. Scattered power outages are expected.
