MOORE...SCOTLAND...RICHMOND...MONTGOMERY AND HOKE COUNTIES...
At 1249 PM EDT, Doppler radar indicated heavy rain that will cause
minor flooding in the advisory area. Up to three inches of rain have
already fallen, with the highest amounts over Moore county. Moderate
rainfall continues over portions of Moore and Hoke Counties, which
may result in minor flooding along area rivers, creeks and streams
as well as urban areas.
Some locations that will experience flooding include...
Laurinburg, Southern Pines, Rockingham, Raeford, Troy, Carthage,
Pinehurst, Hamlet, Aberdeen and Maxton.
