* At 455 PM EDT, a line of damaging winds mixing south along the
western side of Michael were moving along a line extending from 8
miles west of Cary through 11 miles southeast of Pittsboro to 6
miles northeast of Hamlet, moving east at 45 mph. This line of
winds have a history of producing extensive wind damage to
structures.
