.A strong cold front and associated gusty northwest winds will
continue to push through the region overnight, ushering in the
coldest air of the season across the mountains of North Carolina
and Rabun County in Georgia. The gusty winds combined with cold
temperatures will cause an even colder wind chill effect. Cold
high pressure settles over the region Sunday night, resulting in
even colder temperatures for early Monday morning.

* TEMPERATURES...Lows in the lower 30s.
* IMPACTS...Gusty winds will blow around unsecured objects. Tree
limbs could be blown down and a few power outages may result.
Freezing temperatures could kill sensitive vegetation and
damage unprotected outdoor plumbing.
