    .Water levels remain elevated across much of western Pamlico and
    Albemarle Sound due to the combined effects of TD Florence.
    Dangerous rip currents are expected at all Eastern North Carolina
    beaches through Tuesday with rough 3 to 4 foot surf expected.

    Area water levels are on the way down and so while there may still
    be nuisance flooding the threat of any new flooding of low-lying
    areas near waterfront should be over.
