The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of southeast North Carolina and northeast South
Carolina, including the following areas, in southeast North
Carolina, Bladen, Coastal Brunswick, Coastal New Hanover,
Coastal Pender, Columbus, Inland Brunswick, Inland New
Hanover, Inland Pender, and Robeson. In northeast South
Carolina, Central Horry, Coastal Georgetown, Coastal Horry,
Darlington, Dillon, Florence, Inland Georgetown, Marion,
Marlboro, Northern Horry, and Williamsburg.
* Through late tonight
* Potential heavy rainfall from Michael
* Michael is expected to produce heavy rainfall across the area as
the storm lifts northeast across the Carolinas the this evening.
Average rainfall of 2 to 4 inches with locally higher amounts
remain possible through tonight. In addition, the ground
remains saturated in many areas from the significant rainfall
received from Florence last month. As a result, it will not take
as much rainfall to produce new flooding.
