Carolina, including the following areas, in piedmont North
Carolina, Alexander, Cabarrus, Catawba, Cleveland, Davie,
Gaston, Iredell, Lincoln, Mecklenburg, and Rowan. In upstate
South Carolina, Cherokee.
* until midnight EDT tonight
* Flooding for portions of the area continues following widespread
heavy rain from Michael.
* The heavy rain and very high rainfall rates may continue to
produce dangerous and life-threatening flash flooding across the
area.
