...PATCHY DENSE FOG POSSIBLE THROUGH THE EARLY MORNING...
The combination of light winds and saturated ground has resulted
in the development of patchy fog across eastern North Carolina.
The fog is expected to continue through the early morning hours
before gradually dissipating after daybreak. Visibilities in some
areas could be as low as 1/4 mile due to the fog.
Motorists should be alert for sudden changes in visibility due to
the dense fog. Drive at reduced speeds...watch for children at
school bus stops...and use low beam headlights only.
