...MINOR COASTAL FLOODING CONTINUES TONIGHT...
...HIGH RISK OF RIP CURRENTS ALL BEACHES TOMORROW...
.Tropical Storm Michael continues to track northeast into southern
Virginia this evening producing strong winds across Eastern North
Carolina. These south to southwest winds combined with high
astronomical tides will result in some minor ocean side and sound
side flooding.
High swell energy, onshore winds, and high astronomical tides
will result in a high risk of rip currents again on Friday. The
high risk of rip currents will wane by the weekend as Michael
exits the region.
