* WHAT...Ice and snow-covered roads will create dangerous travel
conditions through midday. Also, areas of black ice will cover
portions of area Interstates, bridges, overpasses, streets, side
walks, and parking lots. Rural routes will also be problematic
through noon.
* WHERE...Much of central North Carolina.
* WHEN...Until noon EST Friday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Temperatures will warm with sunshine today.
However, it will be late morning and early afternoon before the
thaw really begins.
