Excessive Heat Warning, which is in effect until 8 PM EDT this
evening. The Heat Advisory is no longer in effect.
* Location...Much of Western and Central Massachusetts, and
north central and northeast Connecticut.
* Heat Index Values...Up to 107 due to temperatures in the upper
80s and lower 90s and dewpoints in the 70s.
* Timing...During peak heating today and Monday afternoon.
* Impacts...Heat indices of these values could lead to heat
illnesses particularly to those most vulnerable.
