  • ...STRONG GUSTY WINDS POSSIBLE THIS EVENING AND OVERNIGHT...
    Two rounds of strong gusty winds are possible this evening and
    overnight. First potential round of wind may impact the south
    coast of Massachusetts and Rhode Island as a line of heavy showers
    and embedded thunderstorms associated with a cold front move
    across this area between 11 PM and 2 AM.
    Behind the front, another round of strong gusty winds will develop
    around or after midnight with northwest winds potentially gusting
    up to 40-45 mph. Greatest risk appears to be across northern
    Massachusetts, including the Greater Boston area. Both wind events
    may result in isolated tree damage and localized power outages.
