...COASTAL FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT FROM THIS EVENING
THROUGH LATE SATURDAY NIGHT...
The National Weather Service in Baltimore MD/Washington has
issued a Coastal Flood Advisory, which is in effect from 8 AM
this morning to 8 PM EDT this evening.
* LOCATIONS...Shoreline in Southern Baltimore County and the
city of Baltimore.
* TIDAL DEPARTURE...1 to 2 feet above normal through Friday
evening. Potentially up to 3 feet above normal late Friday
night through Saturday night.
* TIMING...Around times of high tide. High tide at Fort McHenry is
at 10:38 AM Friday morning. High tide at Bowley Bar is at 11:41
AM Friday morning. High tide Friday evening at Fort McHenry is
at 11:33 PM. The next high tide is at 11:26 AM Saturday morning.
High tide at Bowley Bar late Friday night is at 12:45 AM. The
next high tide is at 12:25 PM Saturday.
* IMPACTS...Flooding is expected at the end of Thames Street in
Baltimore. Water also is expected to cover the promenade at
the dragon boat dock in the Inner Harbor. Minor flooding is
also expected in the Bowley`s Quarters area, and minor
shoreline inundation up to one foot above ground is possible
elsewhere.
-Friday night through Saturday night... The end of Thames Street
may flood, along with portions of the Inner Harbor Promenade.
Water may approach homes in the Bowley`s Quarters area. Minor
shoreline inundation up to two feet above ground is possible
elsewhere.

(MLLW) and mean higher high water (MHHW) unless
otherwise noted. Time of high total tide is
approximate to nearest hour. Total tide combines the
normal tide and departure from normal. Flood impact
