AFTERNOON...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois and east central Iowa, including the
following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Carroll, Henry IL, Jo
Daviess, Putnam, Rock Island, Stephenson, and Whiteside. In
east central Iowa, Clinton, Jackson, and Scott.
* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon
* Additional rainfall amounts up to one quarter inch are still
possible across portions of Bureau and Putnam counties over the
next 1 to 2 hours, but in general the threat of additional heavy
rainfall has moved off to the east of the area. But there is
still the chance for quickly rising water around some creeks and
streams over the next few hours.
