...Areas of Dense Fog This Morning...
Increasing low level moisture and light winds has caused areas of
dense fog to form over portions of eastern Iowa and western
Illinois. Visibilities were reduced to 1/4 mile at some
locations. The fog should dissipate or at least improve by 9 am.
Motorists should drive with extra caution and allow additional
travel time. Use low beams, reduce speed, and allow for plenty of
room between you and other cars. Be alert for rapidly varying
visibilities.
