At 515 AM CDT, radar showed bands of showers with moderate to
pockets of heavy rain moving north across the area. This rain
falling on saturated ground will go into runoff, and may lead to
flooding of low lying and poorly drained areas. In addition,
minor flooding of area creeks and streams, and streets in urban
areas is possible. If you are driving and encounter a flooded
roadway, Turn around, don`t drown. Most flood deaths occur in
vehicles.
