...Periods of Heavy Rain Tonight...
...FLASH FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT THROUGH MONDAY MORNING...
The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* A portion of north central Illinois, including the following
areas, Boone, DeKalb, La Salle, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago.
* Through Monday morning
* Periods of showers and thunderstorms with heavy rainfall are
expected tonight over north central Illinois. One to two plus
inches of rain could fall, including some of the rain over a
very short amount of time. Given the already wet ground, flash
flooding may result.
* Expect additional rises on area rivers, particularly the Rock
and Pecatonica basins. Portions of these rivers and their
tributaries are already above flood stage and this rainfall
may worsen river conditions.
