...Localized Flash Flooding Still Possible This Morning...
.Periods of showers and isolated storms will occur through late
morning. The rain will be moderate to locally heavy at times.
Additional rainfall amounts of around one half to locally near
1 inch is possible. With saturated soils already in place, the
rainfall will quickly runoff and localized flash flooding will be
possible.

The Flash Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois and east central Iowa, including the
following areas, in Illinois, Bureau, Carroll, Hancock,
Henderson, Henry IL, Jo Daviess, McDonough, Mercer, Putnam,
Rock Island, Stephenson, Warren, and Whiteside. In east
central Iowa, Clinton, Jackson, and Scott.
* Until 1 PM CDT this afternoon
* Additional rainfall amounts of one half to 1 inch are possible
in areas that receive repeated rounds of showers and isolated
thunderstorms.
* Any heavy rainfall will lead to significant runoff, which may
cause localized flash flooding. In addition, the rainfall will
worsen ongoing river flooding.
