WEDNESDAY...
The Flood Watch continues for
* Portions of Illinois and Indiana, including the following
areas, in Illinois, Cook, DuPage, Ford, Grundy, Iroquois,
Kankakee, Kendall, La Salle, Livingston, and Will. In Indiana,
Benton, Jasper, Lake IN, Newton, and Porter.
* Until 6 AM CST /7 AM EST/ Wednesday
* Periods of rain will continue across the area tonight. The
highest additional rainfall amounts up to an inch will primarily
southeast of Interstate 57. This is on top of what has already
fallen.
* The ground remains frozen, therefore additional rain will
result in rapid runoff. Rises on area rivers and streams will
likely continue that will result in additional flooding.
Flooding of low lying areas and on roadways near flood prone
areas will also continue to be possible.
