  • ...FLOOD WATCH REMAINS IN EFFECT UNTIL 6 PM CST THIS EVENING...
    The Flood Watch continues for
    * Portions of north central Illinois and northeast Illinois,
    including the following areas, in north central Illinois,
    Boone, DeKalb, Lee, Ogle, and Winnebago. In northeast
    Illinois, Kane, Lake IL, and McHenry.
    * Until 6 PM CST this evening
    * Additional rainfall amounts of up to a half inch are expected on
    top of what has already fallen.
    * The ground remains frozen, therefore the additional rain will
    result in rapid runoff. Rises on area rivers and streams will
    likely continue that may result in additional flooding.
