...Dense Fog Advisory This Morning for West Central Illinois...
.Widespread dense fog is expected to expand eastward into the
Illinois River Valley early this morning thanks to the combination
of light winds, clear skies and abundant moisture in the low
levels of the atmosphere. The fog will gradually dissipate by
mid-morning, but before that happens, motorists are urged to
use extreme caution on area roadways and be prepared for rapid
fluctuations in visibilities.
...DENSE FOG ADVISORY IN EFFECT UNTIL 9 AM CDT THIS MORNING...
The National Weather Service in Lincoln has issued a Dense Fog
Advisory, which is in effect until 9 AM CDT this morning.
* VISIBILITY...One quarter mile or less
* TIMING...Gradually dissipating between 8 and 9 am.
* IMPACTS...Rapid fluctuations in visibilities with areas along
river valleys and in low lying areas most susceptible to the
dense fog.
