...WINTER WEATHER ADVISORY IN EFFECT FROM 1 AM TO 10 AM EST
WEDNESDAY...
* WHAT...Periods of light snow, rain mixed with snow and or
freezing rain. Snow accumulations less than 1 inch, mainly on
grassy surfaces. Freezing rain accumulations, if any, less than
one-quarter of an inch.
* WHERE...Portions of southwest Georgia and portions of the
eastern Florida Big Bend. Generally along and east of a line
from near St. Marks, Florida to Fitzgerald, Georgia. This
includes the cites of Valdosta, Madison, Perry and Cross City.
* WHEN...From 1 AM to 10 AM EST Wednesday.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Snow and ice accumulations will be
dependent on temperatures and precipitation intensity. Some
areas could receive up to one inch of snow or just under one-
quarter of an inch of ice due to freezing rain. A few slick
spots could develop overnight tonight into wednesday morning,
especially on bridges and overpasses.
