MORNING...
* WHAT...Ice covered roads and cold wind chills. Despite
considerable melting yesterday with the sunshine and above
freezing temperatures, water had refrozen overnight as
temperatures drop into the teens and lower 20s. Treacherous
travel conditions are likely to continue this morning. Full
sunshine should bring gradual improvement today, though
temperatures are not expected to rise above freezing until
around noon. Additionally, the combination of the wind and cold
temperatures will result in wind chills around 10 degrees this
morning.
* WHERE...Southeast South Carolina and southeast Georgia.
* WHEN...Until 11 AM EST today.
* ADDITIONAL DETAILS...Extended exposure to low wind chills can
result in hypothermia.
