The Pullman National Monument tells the story of the important events that took place there that shaped American history – industrialization, rail travel, labor rights and civil rights.

Stacy Jackson, executive director of Chicago Lights, has been with the organization for 25 years. She has served as Associate Executive Director and Director of the Tutoring and Summer Day programs. She has seen some of the most vulnerable communities in Chicago affected by the housing crisis, Polar Vortex and COVID-19.

Erica talk the how the name change coincides with Chicago's Black Wall Street. Greenwood Archer Capital is a Community Development Financial Institution that provides loans and grants to small business owners.

Public Relations professional William Penn whom is only one part of the new Marketing Agency "Nature Boy". Penn recently, sat down with, "Conversations with the Citizen", to discuss the services offered at "Nature Boy Agency. When asked about who and what is a urban influencer, Penn didn't hesitate to give insight on what a UI is. William Penn is no stranger to the marketing industry starting with past work with the Carol H. Williams Group.

Conversations with the Citizen is excited to welcome the Andre and Frances Guichard into the studio. The Guichard's are the owners of Gallery Guichard located in the Bronzeville community. Andre and Frances, sat down with us to discuss the importance of knowing our cultural and to talk about the their upcoming event. The Guichard's are slated to host their Annual "Mayor and First Lady of Bronzeville Ball. This event serves as sort of a Welcome back to normalcy for a shutter Community due to COVID-19. "Conversation with the Citizen," welcomes Artist Bianca Shaw to the show. Bianca is a local Artist from the West Side of the Chi. She have performed with some of Chicago's own Rapper "Twister". Bianca's love for music started at an early age. She recalls the time when her and her sister would go in the families basement and perform Christian Rock while others would listen to your traditional versions of gospel music. She wrote her first rap at age 11. Bianca can be seen in a Facebook post beating her percussions like the great "Sheila E".

Illinois State Representative LaShawn Ford, (8th District) sat down with "Conversations With The Citizen" host Tia C. Jones to talk about his latest health scare and final diagnosis's with Prostate Cancer. During the interview Ford talked about the importance of building a relationship with your healthcare provider and not being afraid to go to the doctor. Ford mentioned that the deadline to enroll in the state healthcare benefit (Medicaid) was quickly approaching. He encouraged persons who were unemployed to consider taking advantage of the Medical benefits that President Obama implemented during his time in office.
