In April of 1982, 34-year-old Ezekiel Taylor tragically lost his life when three young men stole his car
as he stopped at a fast-food restaurant on 79th Street and Stony Island Avenue after church one day.
Decades later, his daughter Tenisha Taylor founded the Ezekiel Taylor Scholarship Foundation
to honor his memory.
