Givebutter Supports Black Philanthropy Month to Help Nonprofits Bridge Gaps in Funding for Black-Led Organizations

In the United States, only 1.3% of all philanthropic funding goes to Black communities, down from an all-time high of nearly 2% in 2020, when a national reckoning on racial justice spurred increased commitments to equity. Since then, shifting policies and changing attitudes toward diversity and inclusion have created new barriers for nonprofits working to uplift and empower Black communities.
