Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation answers the call
The Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation was founded in 2002, it is the civic and philanthropic arm of the Illinois Legislative Black Caucus, which was founded in 1967. The Illinois Legislative Black Caucus Foundation’s aim is to enhance the quality of life for Black Illinoisans. The mission of ILBCF is to provide a forum for non-partisan, educational research, public policy development and analysis of various issues of social and economic importance for Illinois. It also provides students throughout the State of Illinois, in African American communities, with internship and scholarship opportunities so they can advance their educational goals.
