KEETA’S PLACE PREPARES GIRLS FOR WOMANHOOD
Lakeeta Williams founded Keeta’s Place in 2020 with the goal of providing a space for girls, 12-18, to learn life skills, so they can grow into adulthood. Williams said Keeta’s Place has always been on her heart. And, when she turned 37, she asked God what to do. When the answer was to start Keeta’a Place, Williams said she wasn’t ready because she didn’t think she had the time. Then, the pandemic hit.
