The University of Chicago Medical Center (pictured) is where Dr. Amber Truhart, an OB GYN specializing in family planning and Pediatric/ Adolescent Gynecology, has her practice and provide information about contraception and reproductive health to young girls in Chicago. Dr. Truhart, along with Mayor Rahm Emanuel
and the Chicago Department of Public Health have all contributed to Chicago reaching a historically low teen birth rate after nine years of steady decline.
