Brave Initiatives is currently a Chicago-based program that develops high school girls in the area of computer science and technology, and teaches them to solve social issues in their communities through
computer coding. Some of the young ladies who come into the program start off with the desire of not wanting to code or believing that they can’t code. But with weeks of training, they ultimately leave the
program with a strong passion to work in the field.
