“Moving Forward” is the theme of the upcoming celebration at the African American Civil War Museum, Saturday, November 19, 2016, 7-10 pm. This celebration will honor two outstanding former Members of the Board of Directors, who worked to restore and preserve the history of the United States Colored Troops and their white o¢cers who led them into battle. Both free and formally enslaved men served as soldiers in the Union Army, during the American Civil War.
