Village of Dolton Mayor Riley Rogers (center -right) reportedly campaigned for newly elected Village Trustees L-R Robert Pierson, Jr., Valeria Stubbs and Duane Muhammad during the Feb. 2015 primary election. Rogers voted with Stubbs, Muhammad and Pierson, Jr. in favor of Ordinance 15-022 which will allow residents to create petitions to remove all elected officials who have served longer than a year on a recall referendum for the March 2016 Presidential primary election.

The Village of Dolton’s Board of Trustees recently approved the passage of Ordinance 15-022 giving residents of the village the power to recall elected officials during the 2016 election.
