The line for a free meal wrapped around BJ's Market and Bakery Dec. 13 as St. Sabina church sponsored its second annual Operation Hope. Rev. Michael Pfleger, pastor of St. Sabina, said the event is as much about feeding the hungry as it is about letting poor people know that they are not forgotten. The community outreach event is a collaborative effort by St. Sabina, BJ's Market, Johnson Publishing Company, WVON-AM/1690, Rush University Medical Center and Terry Peterson.
