Language Equity and Access Act Signed Into Law
SB3762, the Language Equity and Access Act, was recently signed into law. The bill requires the Governor’s Office of New Americans (ONA), in partnership with the Illinois Department of Human Services (IDHS), to craft, implement and oversee statewide language access requirements.
