Seeking Top Spot, La Rabida Children’s Hospital Calls on Community Support to Vote in Soliant Health Most Beautiful Hospital Contest

Chicago, IL, September 15, 2026 – Representing Chicago in a nationwide contest, La Rabida Children’s Hospital has been nominated in Soliant Health’s Most Beautiful Hospital Contest. La Rabida humbly asks the community to vote for La Rabida to highlight the hospital’s iconic location on Lake Michigan’s shoreline, as well as130 years of care for children and families.

“La Rabida’s historic location, lush green campus, and Great Lake view make the hospital a beautiful place, but we all know that true beauty comes from what’s inside,” says President and CEO Dr. Rolla T. Sweis. “It’s the incredible compassion of our team members, the dedication of our volunteers, and the endless spirit of our young patients and their families.”

In 2025, La Rabida ranked #4 in the country, up from #17 in 2024.

There are no voting limits. Public voting ends on Friday, October 16, 2026. The winner will be announced on Wednesday, October 23. The hospital with the most votes will be titled “America’s Most Beautiful Hospital” and receive a $5,000 donation.
