CHICAGO RESTAURANTS TURN MENU ITEMS INTO SUPPORT FOR CHILDREN IN FOSTER CARE THIS MAY
“Sip & Share for Foster Care” launches May 1, donating $1 from select menu items to One Hope United
CHICAGO – May 13, 2026 – One Hope United, a nonprofit dedicated to supporting children, youth, and families through foster care, early childhood education, and mental health services, launches its first annual Sip & Share for Foster Care campaign in recognition of National Foster Care Awareness Month this May.

“Children in foster care didn’t choose their circumstances, but we can choose how we respond,” said Damon Cates, President & CEO of One Hope United. “This campaign turns something as simple as ordering a drink or meal into direct support for programs that provide mental health care, educational support, and basic necessities for youth in foster care.”
