Chicago – Illinois Conservatory for the Arts (ICA), a non-profit arts education institution in the Western suburbs, proudly announces a one-night-only benefit concert celebrating the music, legacy, and original stars of the Broadway phenomenon Six. Marking the six-year anniversary of the show’s transfer to Broadway in 2020 The Royal Reunion: Celebrating Six Years of Six will reunite the original queens for an evening of powerhouse performances in an intimate Chicago venue. Proceeds from the event will support ICA’s mission of providing high-level arts education to Chicagoland youth. The Royal Reunion is Monday, June 22 at 7:30 PM at The Fairlie 339 N Bell Ave. in Chicago’s West Loop. Tickets are available at ilconservatory.org/concert.
Six, a pop musical featuring the six wives of Henry VIII, had its pre-Broadway run at Chicago Shakespeare Theater making Chicago the perfect city for this reunion. Six of the original Broadway queens will perform at this event Adrianna Hicks (Catherine of Aragon), Andrea Macasaet (Anne Boleyn), Keirsten Hodgens (Jane Seymour, Anna of Cleves, Catherine Parr alternate), Brittney Mack (Anna of Cleves), Samantha Pauly (Katherine Howard), and Anna Uzele (Catherine Parr).
“We are thrilled to bring the original Broadway Queens of Six back to Chicago for this special anniversary celebration! These six performers are each powerhouses in their own right, but something incredible happens when they’re brought together.” said ICA Executive Director Dylan Ladd. “In addition to getting to witness this not-to-be-missed reunion, by buying a ticket, audiences are directly contributing to ICA’s mission of expanding access to top-tier arts education for the kids and teens of Chicagoland.”
Standard tickets include valet parking, an open bar, and access to an after party with the performers with special reserved concert seating for VIP ticket holders. Tickets are also available for access to a livestream of the event for audiences unable to attend the concert in person.
