RAINBOW PUSH COALITION ANNUAL CONVENTION ANNOUNCES LINE-UP OF GREAT SPEAKERS, PANELISTS, AND HONOREES

"Fulfilling the American Promise" June 10–13 in Chicago, Illinois

CHICAGO, IL — The Rainbow PUSH Coalition will convene its annual conference June 10–13, 2026, at its Chicago headquarters located at 952 E. 50th St., Chicago, Illinois, drawing leaders, advocates, policymakers, and community members from across the nation for four days of dialogue, reflection, and action. This year, the convention requires no registration fee and is open to the public.

This year's convention theme, "Fulfilling the American Promise," speaks to an urgent national conversation: the widening distance between America's founding ideals and the day-to-day realities facing millions of its people. As a tribute to the organization's enduring legacy and a forward-looking call to action, the gathering comes at a defining moment for civil rights, democracy, and social justice in America.

"We are honored to welcome an extraordinary group of speakers and leaders to this year's conference," said Yusef D. Jackson, CEO of Rainbow PUSH. "At a time when Black people's civil liberties are being stripped from legislative power, our history is being diminished, Black women are losing their employment at alarming rates, and immigrant rights are being challenged, we must stand up and stand out in front of this crisis. We are excited to bring together leaders from across sectors and generations for sessions that will not only inspire but challenge us to think boldly about how we fulfill the American promise for everyone."

Attendees can expect robust programming featuring elected officials, civil rights leaders, policy experts, faith voices, movement organizers, media executives, and cultural figures engaging in the honest, substantive conversations this moment demands.
