WEST CHICAGO, IL – Momentum continues to grow behind Karina Villa’s campaign for Illinois State Comptroller with a major endorsement from the Chicago Teachers Union.
Villa brings firsthand experience from inside public schools and a proven record in the Illinois General Assembly of standing up for students and families. As Comptroller, she will apply that same commitment to Illinois’ finances by prioritizing timely payments for schools, healthcare providers, and housing services, protecting taxpayers from harmful cuts by the Trump administration, and advancing progressive revenue solutions that do not put the burden on working families.
