(Chicago, IL) – Early Walker- CEO of I’m Telling, Don’t Shoot-will be joined by Sip and Savor Coffee Shop Owner Trey Pugh, community leaders, and political leaders as he is set to visit the recently vandalized business known as Sip and Savor in the Bronzeville community of Chicago. Sip and Savor Coffee Shop has a national reputation for providing safe spaces, cultural appreciation activities, and a networking environment. Upon constructing the popular coffee shop in Bronzeville, the owner, Trez Pugh, was approached by numerous elected officials and civic leaders to place the well-known coffee blend in “more prominent and safer” neighborhoods. But Pugh chose Bronzeville and Bronzeville residents have shown their appreciation by giving full support to the African American owned business.

However, recently the beautiful shop was burglarized with thousands of dollars in damages, along with other challenges that have stalled the business operations of the thriving shop.

After hearing of the unfortunate incident, Early Walker reached out to Pugh to appeal to him not to listen to outside voices that would suggest that he shut down and move the business elsewhere. In fact, Walker is set to announce a free coffee drive in which he will purchase coffee free for customers who are willing to participate and appeal to Mr. Pugh to remain in Bronzeville.

“ I can’t stand idle and witness another successful Black business be stymied and forced to move its operations. Mr. Pugh has invested hundreds of thousands of dollars in this structure all while enhancing a sense of beautification and culture to what was once an eyesore on the southside.

Last week Early Walker took a similar approach to the Fat Burger business due to a deplorable and violent occurrence that led to an employee being seriously injured. Literally hundreds of Chicagoans showed up to that location on 79th street and received free meals through Mr. Walker’s generosity along with E&R Towing.
