WOMEN FOR JULIANA HOST MOMS FIRESIDE CHAT WITH CONTENT CREATOR JENNY LEFLORE
CHICAGO – Last night, Women for Juliana hosted their first event, a fireside chat moderated by mom and content creator Jenny LeFlore. Dozens of attendees gathered at Little Black Pearl in Chicago’s Kenwood neighborhood for the conversation.
U.S. Senate Candidate Juliana Stratton shared more about her platform, her experience as a mother in leadership, and how Illinois is leading the nation in uplifting working moms.
“That’s why this policy is so important, and that’s why it’s important that we understand it and we have a safe place to discuss it. So when you’re out in circles and life turns to politics, we’re not having to shy away. You can stand firm and be in conversation and speak not only to ideas but also policy, and you can speak confidently about who you support,” said Jenny LeFlore.
“Politics is a part of our everyday lives, whether we intentionally decided to get engaged or not…When we come together and recognize the power of coalition and community, we will get through this together. This room is powerful. This is where the work gets done,” said Juliana Stratton.
Women for Juliana is building a powerful coalition of supporters of Juliana’s campaign for U.S. Senate, organizing events like the Moms Fireside Chat to reach Illinoisans where they are. Juliana continues to engage directly with creators like Jenny to ensure that no matter where voters consume their content, they know what Juliana stands for and her plan to fight for them in Washington.
