Richard J. Daley College to Offer Aquatics Classes Through its Continuing Education Department
Pool Opening to the Public on October 14
Participants can swim laps, water walk, exercise or simply have fun. The Office of Continuing Education aquatic classes are open to the public with advance registration.
CHICAGO – Richard J. Daley College is pleased to announce that Chicagoans can dive into the fun with its Aquatic program, that will be opening to the public through its Office of Continuing Education starting on Tuesday, Oct. 14, so register today!
"Swimming is a low-impact sport that offers a full-body workout and is suitable for nearly everyone, regardless of age or fitness level. It’s powerful enough to strengthen the body, calm the mind, and lift the spirit,” said Interim President, Peggy Korellis, Richard J. Daley College.
Participants must register in advance. Swimmers at every skill level, from beginner to advanced are welcome to access the pool. The pool is located in main building of Richard J. Daley College, 7500 S. Pulaski Road in Chicago. The pool is open for classes on the following days and times.

Mondays & Wednesdays 11:00 am - 5:00 pm
Tuesdays & Thursdays 12:30 pm - 6:00 pm
Fridays 11:00 am - 3:30 pm

Adult Lap Swim – 18+ yrs.
Hydro-Fit (Aerobics) 18 yrs.+
Spring 2026
Adult Lap Swim – 18+ yrs.
Hydro-Fit (Aerobics) 18+ yrs.
Learn the Basics – Adults
Intro to Water Skills – 8-12 yrs.
