CHICAGO — A new kind of mental health practice opens its doors this week in the heart of Chicago—with a model intended to transform how clinicians work together and how clients experience care. NK Psychological Services, founded by Emily Newman, Psy.D., is pioneering a collaborative, consultation-centered model that blends rigorous clinical practice, mentorship, and accessibility in the heart of the community.
“NK Psychological Services is inspired by a vision of what mental health care could look like when clinicians have the support and structure to do their best work,” said Dr. Emily Newman, founder of NK Psychological Services. “We’re offering something that doesn’t quite exist anywhere else—a place where psychodynamically trained clinicians collaborate regularly, where testing and therapy are both available without long waitlists, and where future therapists receive meaningful mentorship. Located in a beautifully converted warehouse space, NK Psychological Services offers therapy for individuals, couples, and families across the lifespan, as well as comprehensive psychological testing for issues such as ADHD, autism, and learning differences.
