Chicago-Based Startup Nimblemind.ai Selected for Google for Startups AI Academy: American Infrastructure

Google expands support for startups using AI to improve U.S. infrastructure.

CHICAGO, Ill. – Nimblemind.ai – a healthcare startup in Chicago dedicated to offering a faster and safer way to structure, label, and manage multimodal health data – announced it has been selected for the second cohort of the Google for Startups AI Academy: American Infrastructure program. The four-month, equity-free hybrid program supports Seed to Series A companies building AI-driven solutions that strengthen essential U.S. infrastructure across vital sectors, including agriculture, housing, transportation, cybersecurity, manufacturing, and education.

As these companies continue to integrate AI in their operations, each startup will receive equity-free support including dedicated mentorship from Google AI experts, leadership coaching, advanced sales and marketing strategies, connections to a global founder alumni network, and direct access to cutting-edge Google AI technologies such as Vertex AI, TensorFlow, Cloud AI Platform, and Gemini.

"The integration of AI into America's infrastructure is driving a new wave of innovation and economic opportunity," said Daniel Navarro, Head of Google for Startups, North America. "We're proud to support startups like Nimblemind.ai that are tackling complex public challenges and implementing AI-driven solutions."

“The Google for Startups AI Academy: American Infrastructure is a powerful endorsement of our mission at Nimblemind,” said Pi Zonooz, CEO of Nimblemind.ai. “We’re harnessing AI to accelerate the evolution of healthcare—making care more proactive, personalized, and efficient. This program gives us the support to scale that vision and contribute to a stronger, healthier future.”

Nimblemind.ai is recognized for its work in clinical healthcare data infrastructure, where it uses AI to ingest unstructured multi‑modal datasets (EMRs, patient surveys, wearable data), curate and label them, and deliver structured, AI‑ready outputs – enabling faster training cycles for predictive models, improved clinical decision‑making, optimized operations, and new revenue streams for providers.

The 2025 cohort includes startups developing solutions across a wide range of critical industries including agriculture, public safety, disaster response, energy, education, healthcare, telecommunications, and economic opportunity.

We believe unlocking the full potential of multimodal clinical data will transform patient care and medical discovery. Nimblemind’s mission is to accelerate the path from raw information to impactful AI by making the rich landscape of multi-modal clinical data as actionable and AI-ready as possible. We empower healthcare innovators to build, evaluate, and deploy better models faster.
