State Farm and The Salvation Army Launch National Donation Drive to Support Families This Holiday Season
Partnership Enables State Farm to Provide Essential Items to Those in Need
CHICAGO, December 10, 2025 — State Farm and The Salvation Army are partnering this holiday season through a national corporate digital donation drive, providing State Farm employees, agents, retirees, and their extended network an opportunity to directly support individuals and families in need this Christmas season.
The internal initiative allows the State Farm team and their network to purchase toys and household goods to support Salvation Army locations across the United States. Participants can select items in categories including Toys and Teens, Household and Hygiene, School Supplies, and Clothing. All items are shipped directly to local Salvation Army Corps at no cost.
“We are grateful for State Farm’s commitment to serving communities during the holiday season,” said Lt. Colonel Jonathan Rich, The Salvation Army North and Central Illinois Divisional Commander. “This partnership makes it easy to make a meaningful difference in the lives of families who need extra support during Christmas. Every toy, every household item, and every donation is a gift that helps us fulfill our mission to meet human needs without discrimination.”
The platform allows donors to enter a ZIP code and choose the location they wish to support, ensuring their generosity stays within their own communities in keeping with The Salvation Army’s Give Where You Live philosophy. All items purchased will be distributed through regular Christmas activities such as toy shops and seasonal distribution events, reaching families who might otherwise go without during the holidays.
The digital donation drive represents a modern approach to corporate philanthropy, leveraging technology to connect donors with local needs while eliminating logistical barriers.
