TEATRO ZINZANNI ANNOUNCES A PERMANENT RESIDENCY IN CHICAGO AND THE LAUNCH OF CLUB ZINZANNI

Teatro ZinZanni is thrilled to announce that it is here to stay in Chicago with individual tickets on sale through September 28 and group tickets on sale through the end of 2025

Teatro ZinZanni also announces the launch of Club ZinZanni with “The Comparable Dina Martina” on May 21

Chicago, Ill. – Teatro ZinZanni, the most unique and magical experience in Chicago, is thrilled to announce they are here to stay in Chicago with a sit-down run featuring new and rotating casts and new iterations of the show. Individual tickets are now on sale through September 28, with group tickets on sale through December 31.

We look forward to Teatro ZinZanni continuing to engage visitors from all over the world with their distinctive blend of music, cirque, comedy, and food."

Teatro ZinZanni is also thrilled to announce its new presenting series, Club ZinZanni. This series will run in conjunction with TZ's signature show and highlight the best of Chicago, national, and international talent – from music to drag to comedy to magic to cirque, Club ZinZanni will bring it all to this great city. All events will take place in Teatro ZinZanni's antique Spiegeltent on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel with food and refreshments available for most shows.

Club ZinZanni will debut with “THE COMPARABLE DINA MARTINA" on May 21 at 7pm. The legendary Dina Martina will bring her signature surreal comedic experience full of song and story to the Spiegeltent for one night only. The Atlantic raves: “[Martina is] comic genius. I’ve never seen anything as brilliant or as funny as Dina.” Since 1989, Miss Martina has been packing houses throughout the U.S., Canada, and the U.K. and has shared the bill with Margaret Cho, Alan Cumming, Justin Vivian Bond, and Bridget Everett. She has received The Stranger Genius Award for Theater, two Seattle Times Footlight Awards, a nomination for The Alpert Award for Theater, and two nominations for GLAAD Media Awards for Outstanding Off-Off Broadway Show. Tickets are currently on sale.

Since 2019, Teatro ZinZanni Chicago has captivated audiences with 741 shows, attracting over 110,000 guests. Since its relaunch in October 2023, Teatro ZinZanni Chicago has presented 367 performances, drawing in over 50,000 attendees. These impressive numbers reflect the lasting charm and widespread acclaim of ZinZanni’s unique entertainment experience.

Teatro ZinZanni is excited to announce changes to its stellar cast. They are thrilled to welcome back Danila Bim on April 25. Danila Bim is an acclaimed circus artist from São Paulo, Brazil, renowned for her pioneering artistry in hair suspension and aerial hoop. Trained as a dancer with a distinct style and compelling stage presence, Danila has spent the past 15 years captivating audiences worldwide. She has collaborated with some of the world’s premier entertainment companies, including multiple Cirque du Soleil productions, where she has been celebrated as a featured artist.

The powerful vocalist Cunio, Mr. Z himself, and the elegant contortionist Elayne Kramer are leaving the current show on April 19.

Teatro’s scrumptious host, Doily (brilliantly played by comedian Kevin Kent) continues to lead the cast of titillating performers, with acts from extraordinary hula hoop artist Vita Radionova, astonishing aerial straps and capoeira artist Raphael Nepomuceno, and renowned Chicago-based trapeze duo Duo Rose.

Teatro ZinZanni invites guests to embark on a journey of their signature show under their historic Belgian Spiegeltent. Performances take place on the 14th floor of the Cambria Hotel, 32 W.
