This Giving Tuesday & Holiday Season, take the pledge to support families facing Alzheimer’s
The Alzheimer’s Association Illinois Chapter invites you to make a difference this holiday season by participating in #GivingTuesday on Tuesday, December 3. This global day of generosity is an opportunity to raise vital funds and awareness to support the fight against Alzheimer’s and all other dementias.
As the season of giving unfolds, the Association encourages everyone to honor those impacted by dementia and join efforts to create a future free from this devastating disease. Contributions made before December 31, 2024, will help the organization reach its annual fundraising goal and continue its critical mission.

Recognizing the Signs During the Holidays
Holiday gatherings often provide rare moments to connect with older loved ones, offering an opportunity to observe potential memory or behavior changes that might otherwise go unnoticed. These holiday observations frequently lead to an increase in calls to the Association’s 24/7 Helpline, a resource available year-round to provide guidance and support for families navigating dementia-related challenges.
