Resilience Healthcare Celebrates Two Year Anniversary with New Initiatives at West Suburban and Weiss Memorial

Hospitals Open New Multi-Specialty Clinics to Expand Access to Quality Ambulatory Care

CHICAGO & OAK PARK – As Resilience Healthcare marks its second anniversary operating West Suburban Medical Center and Weiss Memorial Hospital, the team is announcing the launch of two new multi-specialty clinics. These clinics will operate at each hospital and will provide faster access to quality outpatient care for the diverse communities they serve.

“Our mission is to provide access to high quality care to every patient who walks through our doors and these clinics will make that care more accessible and convenient than ever before,” said Dr. Manoj Prasad, President & Group CEO, Resilience Healthcare. “As we mark our two-year anniversary operating West Suburban and Weiss Memorial, I am grateful to our dedicated teams and thrilled at how far we’ve come. Together, we have transformed these two hospitals that were bankrupt and near closure into hospitals that are growing, improving access to care, and looking to the future.”

WEST SUBURBAN MEDICAL CENTER

The new multi-specialty clinic also known as Super Clinic at West Suburban is now open with a growing list of providers including Family Medicine, Surgery, Infectious Diseases, Nutritional Counseling, and Psychological Counseling. The clinic is also in the process of adding Pediatrics, Obstetrics, and Gynecology, which will all be available shortly. The aim of this clinic is to bring a range of specialists under one roof to provide the comprehensive healthcare patients deserve. The new clinic will also accept walk-in patients.

WEISS MEMORIAL HOSPITAL

The new multi-specialty clinic at Weiss Memorial just opened its doors and is now seeing patients with a range of health needs. Beginning with a focus on internal medicine, urology, and podiatry, the clinic will soon expand to include general surgery, infectious disease, and other specialties. The goal is to bring high quality care and expanded capacity to the community with the ability for walk in patients to see clinicians within a matter of hours.

December marks the two-year anniversary of Resilience Healthcare saving West Suburban Medical Center and Weiss Memorial Hospital from certain scheduled closure. At a time when hospitals are laying off staff, cutting services, and closing their doors, both hospitals have expanded under Resilience’s leadership. With hundreds of new staff, new equipment, and expanded services, West Suburban and Weiss Memorial are charting a course towards a brighter future.
