Anthony McCaskill- Chairman of the South Suburban Region Black Chamber of Commerce- will be joined by Illinois State Senator Napoleon Harris, Calvin Jordan along with over 50 southland mayors, Chicago Business leaders and southland residents in the groundbreaking celebration and ceremony for the much-anticipated Chambers Training Academy.
The Chambers Training Academy is a groundbreaking initiative to empower future entrepreneurs from the South Suburban region. This innovative program offers a comprehensive 17-week training curriculum free of charge. The training will cover a wide array of practical skills, including lawn care, automotive detailing, auto body painting, general contracting, and installation of automotive sounds and accessories. The goal of the program is to equip participants with essential hands-on training in their chosen fields, enhancing their expertise and increasing their employability at no cost. Chairman McCaskill hopes this will help bring significant growth to Southland professionals.
“Empowering our community's future entrepreneurs is not just a goal. It’s our obligation. Through the Chambers Training Academy, we're providing essential skills and tools, ensuring every aspiring business owner has the opportunity to succeed, fostering a legacy of innovation and prosperity in the South Suburban region,” says McCaskill.
Upon successful completion of the 17-week course, participants will receive a free Limited Liability Company (LLC) or Small Corporation of their choosing, providing them with a solid foundation to kick-start their entrepreneurial journey.
The program is dedicated to fostering economic growth and empowering the community's future leaders. This groundbreaking initiative reflects the chamber's commitment to providing valuable resources and opportunities to aspiring entrepreneurs in the South Suburban region.
