(Lynwood, IL) The Village of Lynwood is pleased to announce its upcoming Property After Death Forum Event, which will take place on Wednesday, April 12, 2023, from 5:30 PM until 7:30 PM, at the Glenwood-Lynwood Library located at 19901 Stony Island Avenue, Lynwood, IL 60411. The event will provide essential information on how residents can acquire assets from their loved ones after death and how to protect their homes from property fraud. Residents will have an in-depth opportunity to gain knowledge on how to acquire assets from their loved ones after death. Statistics show that billions of dollars in assets go unclaimed each year, mainly due to a need for knowledge about how to transfer them. This event aims to provide residents with the necessary information on transferring homes, cars, and bank accounts to whom they choose.
The event will allow attendees to speak with licensed professionals, financial planners, and more who will provide guidance on how to transfer assets successfully. Additionally, experts in property fraud protection will be available to educate residents on safeguarding their homes from fraudulent activities. Mayor Jada D. Curry hopes that all Lynwood residents will attend this extraordinary event.
“The Village of Lynwood is super excited to host such a groundbreaking event here in our town. People must have the resources and knowledge to plan properly for their loved ones. Many of our residents will benefit from this forum, and I encourage everyone to attend. Knowledge is truly the gateway for continuous evolvement,” says Mayor Jada D. Curry.

Yarbrough, Cook County Commissioner Donna Miller, Illinois State Representative Thaddeus Jones, Village of Lynwood, Glenwood-Lynwood Library, Flossmoor Public Library, Homewood Public Library, South Holland Public Library, and Crete Public Library.
